Saturday, 30th April 2011 saw our second annual Garyoke event at Chesters Hotel and Steakhouse, Old Trafford, Manchester! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and once again made it a great success.

Garyoke is a Thatter's version of karaoke. It consists of a 2 course Carvery, diso/karaoke evening and we have a short game of Thingo (that's Bingo to non Thatters!), hold a raffle and sell merchandise in order to raise funds for charity.

This event will now be held annually, for friends to meet up each year and have a bit of fun. We do not make any profit on tickets, what you pay is what it costs to run.

It is held at Chesters Hotel and Steakhouse, on Chester Road, Old Trafford. You can find out more by visiting the Venue section!

There are just 65 tickets available for this event each year, because of room capacity. We found that 65 was really nice for Garyoke because everyone who wanted was able to perform.

Some Thatters came along the evening before and had a meal at the hotel together, which makes for a lovely weekend away at a very reasonable price.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended Garyoke, making is such a brilliant night - special thanks to the TTAP team for hosting it this year. It sounds like you all had a ball! Special thanks go to Mel, Nancy, David, Carlton and all at Chesters for making us feel so welcome - it's like coming home for a family weekend!
